This little sloop is a miniature version of an early Nova Scotia fishing launch circ 1920. Power in those days would have been a single cylinder make and break gasoline engine. That would still be a good choice if one could be found, otherwise the smallest available diesel is best. The rig is retained for use in favourable conditions. all in all a very civilized boat for gentle day trips along the shore.
