Here’s a good rowing boat that will also take a small outboard motor. It is loosely based on the skiffs used historically by sportsfishing lodges on this coast. It has capacity for three adults with gear and lunch baskets. Initial stability is good with plenty of reserve in the flared topsides when reeling in a big one.

While traditionally these boats were clinker built, this plan is drawn for the simpler strip and glass technique. It has built-in buoyancy tanks fore and aft and two rowing positions.
